our new home sweet home.....

today isn't a day off, it's just like every day i've had for weeks now. i'm still working and dying to have some time off...
our new house is coming along nicely, the contractors are putting the siding on it now and then they will be pretty much done for awhile. husband and i will be doing the electrical, plumbing, tiling, wood floors, wood ceilings, etc, etc. so we have lots ahead of us.

husband is still being treated for lymes disease and has some other type of inflammation arthritis. we're waiting on some test results. then they can put him on another medication to hopeuflly make him feel better. he still feels horible. so that's the latest report on that.

well i'm going to post a picture of the house as it is now. i was going to post pictures like from the starting point till now, but that might have taken me forever. so here it is everyone. i'm absoulutly going to be living in a dream home. we designed every inch of the place ourselves and are very proud of what it has become so far. i hope to make alot of sweet memories with my family there and hopefully soon.

so i'll leave you today with a look at something we've been working for, for a very long time.

our dream is coming true...........
have a great weekend everybody and enjoy the ones you love!!!

I love it! I am so excited for you and what a dream to come true!

I am sorry to hear about your husband. I am sure that makes getting things done much harder for him. I pray that he gets relief soon.

How exciting that you and your husband have designed this house and will be doing much of the work...makes it so personal.

Bless you Cheryl as I know you are working so hard and I'm sure you are concerned about your husband and I know how much you miss your family...I always keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs and love, Lori

Thank you for stopping by - someone else who makes up the bed while still in it !haw! - I do that, pull the covers up and straighten them and then slide out easy so I can just fiddle foo and it's done! *grin*

I LOVE that house! It's gorgeous and rustic - you must be so excited. I am living in my dream house too -it's more the Place than the house, although I adore my little log house....

Good luck and show more photos...so exciting!
